Gridiron provides our highly specialized off-season training January through July. We do NOT provide training in season (August through November) as we partner directly with High School, Middle School, and Youth programs. We support student-athletes being fully committed to their in-season teams. Additionally, student-athletes who continue to train in-season run a high risk of overtraining, which can negatively impact their physical and mental health. In special cases, with approval from the athlete’s Head Coach, we provide in-season maintenance sessions to repair performance issues.
Gridiron's January through July off-season training program maximizes player skill acquisition through "Training Sprints". It is well documented that athletes perform best when they train intensely for 3 to 5 weeks followed by a week of rest and recovery. Our Training Sprints are designed to align with school breaks and holidays, supporting family schedules and player well-being.
